Hi, I see that this has ben reported before with a solution of replacing the handset. That's OK if it happens only occasionally, but on one site I have 2 examples within a matter of a singe week. They only have 9 so as a proportion it's quite high and I am concerned that...
Thanks all for your comments. I have resolved the problem.
The router was to blame. It appeared to be working OK but when I swapped it for a Draytek all my issues went away.
By the way the 132.177.123.13 stun is a service provided by stunserver.org and is freely available. I am using it but...
So the router says.
I'm using Lan2 with an internal address through to an ADSL router with NAT
Gamma are saying that the voice part of the connection does not have our external address in the handshake so they don't know where to send the voice traffic.
Perhaps the IP office doen't send out...
In the Stun server config, Stun is ignored if open internet is chosen and the external IP address is manually set.
The IP office registers hence innitial establishment of call is successful and ringing of phones occurs whether a call is outbound or inbound
All external ports are forwarded by...
I'm using he 88.215.60.40 address. I will ask them if this is correct and whether I should be using the other address but I there platforms are supposed to be vendor independent so I doubt if it will matter.
I assume that you also use "open Internet" rather than using a 3rd party Stun?
Hi
I have an IP500 V2 on 7.0 (23)
After the usual messing about I got the SIP line working correctly about 2 months ago and all has been working well till Friday morning.
Registration is working and a call in or out gets the normal phone ring but when answered no voice is heard in either...
Thanks all for the feedback.
The 3rd party route seems the only way forward as 8.0 is unlikely to be with us until sometime in 2012.
It does of course double the cost to the client if he happens to use Blackberry and not the I-Phone or Nokia.
Hi all
For some strange reason the most popular business mobile is not supported by the IP Office One-X Mobile app.
Have I got this wrong. Does anyone have it working or do I go to a 3rd party?
Any feedback would be gratefully received
Hi All
I haven't bought the Gateway yet but it will be have a BRI interface and connect to a BRI in the IP Office.
Sounds from your experience that this will be OK then.
recommendation on make of GSM would be appreciated
Thanks
Tim
Hi
I know that One-X will not run over analogue lines, and that ISDN or SIP are to be used, but to save the client money I wanted to connect to his mobile (in or out) via a GSM gateway.
Has anyone attempted this and got it working??
Tim
Hopefully someone can help me with this, I would like to know how you feel the NEC SV8100 compares to the IP Office.
Now I know alot of the differences but would like to know how you guys feel about it, whether it's a worthy competitor or not (with examples if possible)
Many thanks
James
I know its not in the compatibility list but has anyone or does anyone know whether you can run one-x mobile client on the samsung i320. It is a windows mobile 5 based device, tried a couple of versions but neither worked.
Thanks for your help in advance.
James
