You want to use AD to authenticate...why have you set it to use forms?? It is a complete different thing. Although you might be having a configuration issue (look at your dns, firewall configuration and IIS, the process to publish a site hosted on sharepoint is not different to using other CMS) you should investigate the cost with a Internet license for Moss- NifaF
