This might seem farfetched, but do you have any other graphics programs installed? Sometimes they can read pdf files. Illustrator 10 will open them as formatted. Then maybe you could paste from that program into access. I've circumvented some formatting issues this way.
There are 2 ways to lock rows in Excel - "Split" panes or "Freeze" them. Either one will work fine if your locked row is at the top of the page. click in the cell to just under where you want to place the "lock" and use the Window menu bar to choose your option...
My Access database decided not to open this afternoon for no apparent reason. It is on a server (Win 98 network). Other Access databases open on all computers; this one doesn't even open on the server.
The bmp at the startup flashes, then nothing.
