We had a problem on Friday where our server almost ran out of memory, now this in turn knocked one of our exchange services out.
I managed to free up some memory & then had to mount two mailboxes( mailbox store(server) & public folder store (server)) to get our users connected to...
Yes the laptop is assigned a proper ip off the network!
192.168.16.x
I jst checked the DNS(not too familiar with this), there was an IP in the reverse lookup zones which conflicted with the gaffers IP address.
I deleted this and now the connection with the server name is going through fine...
When i attempt to do ipconfig /flushdns on my mangers laptop the command prompt displays the following message - the requested operation requires elevation!
Ive also checked the tcp/ip settings and it states that the laptop is connected through DHCP but when i run an ipconfig/ all is states...
Jst attempted to ping the server name from my gaffers laptop and it times out each time, i then pinged the sppservers ip address and it went through no bother at all?????

The ping went through with no problems from my desktop, i can also connect to the server using the server name, the bad thing is its my gaffers laptop that wont connect.
How will i check for the host record and can i refresh the DNS as im sure this problem has occured before!

I have a little problem concerning colour & black & white printer settings

OK i've got it going
So its now comparing collumn C on both worksheets and letting me know if that value in workshhet 1 exists in worksheet 2 and also if theres multiple entry's of the same value.
Confusing stuff this, especially when you working with 15,000 rows of data

so all i put in C2 or(without headers) is =A2&B2
Will this be on both workbooks?
then in D2 i will put =COUNTIF(remitt!C:C,C2)
