    How to eject tapes from Qualstar 8211 robot via Networker

    Hi all, Does anyone know how to physically eject a tape from a Qualstar 8211 robot via Networker 7.3.x ? I can eject/withdraw the tape from the nw gui and the the physical tape is moved to the top of the robot (just behind the eject door) But how can I get out the tape though the ejectdoor? /M

    Hi all, Thanks for all your answers, but I tried all your solutions but non of them worked... It still backup only 3 Gb of 30 Gb. I will try to contact I local firm at my location to see if they knew about this problem.

    Tapes marked full - plenty of space left

    I hade almost the sam problem and I had to change my SCSI cards (LSI_LOGIC) to Adaptec. My problems were: -The tapes didnt get full. Sometimes it wrote 200 Mb of 1,6TB capacity. -Strange I/O errors in the daemon log -Bad streming speed. /M
