Determine motherboard
Go to http://www.ami.com click on motherboard ID and look for a file named amibid, if this is to difficult on bootup press f8 and the bios interface will give you the name on the top of the user inter face screen. Hope this helps, [thumbsup] mgl- mgl

J-571B motherboard won't recognise RAM modules of over 32MB
It could be that the ram is bad have you checked it on another compatible machine [pc3]- mgl
