Importing *.mbx files to OE5 and beyond
Some more info: it's not read only and it's the only file that contains all the messages to date. There is also a dbx file which mysteriously only has messages to last April even though there has not been an upgrade or any other change made to the PC (except that a new user account was set up...- masoncc

Importing *.mbx files to OE5 and beyond
I'm praying someone has the answer to this. I'm trying to import an inbox from OE4 to OE5 and all the relevant data seems to be in an mbx file (rather than dbx). OE5 won't recognise this as a valid source for importing messages. What can I do?- masoncc

Can't import Outlook Express MBX and DBX files
Any joy with this yet? I have a similar problem trying to import mail into Outlook Express 5. No worries with the DBX files but the MBX files aren't recognised. I've checked and the read only attribute remains unticked. If someone can help I'd be most appreciative because this issue is driving...- masoncc
