Symantec Enterprise Removal
You can't uninstall it unless you have the administrator's password. Your laptop was probably a property of the school. You'll either have to have the administrator's password or reformat the your laptop.- maki808

2003 Norton Antivirus Subscription Pop-up
Are you happy with Norton? After my subscription ended with Norton. Geek Squad told me to move to Trend Micro Pc-cillin since it catches more viruses. If you go to Best Buy or Geek Squad, I'm sure they would suggest using Trend Micro over norton. User interface is a lot more friendly in TM...- maki808

Reducing cost of updates
I had the same problems you are having now. I switched to Trend Micro Pc-cillin because they have a three licenses seat. What many people don't know is that you can add up to four or five pcs. Good luck.- maki808
