The idea behind the routing we use for our highest priority queues is to get the call answered - even if the agent is on another call. Agents can only have one ACD line appearance, if all agents are on calls, the high priority call would not get answered until an agent became available. We have...
Depending on how you want the call handled you can achieve your goal in a couple of different ways:
1. Set up your ACD path to queue to the current agent group; enable Interflow; set Interflow Time Out to 3 seconds, this allows time for ACD record creation for PF reporting (allow 10 seconds if...
The best way to do it and still get PF to report it in the ACD reports is to use multicall line appearances and have the ACD path point to that line appearance. We do this for our highest priority queues.
If you want to return it to another agent group on RONA then you would have to build a...
Does this user get the same error if logged in as herself on a different machine?
If not, try renaming her profile...just add OLD at the end of the profile name. If she is logging into the local machine, create a new profile for her then have her login and try it. If she logs into the machine...
Is Excel installed and working? If Excel is installed and working, try clearing the temporary internet files and the temp folder located at C:\Documents and Settings\<UserProfile>\Local Settings\Temp

No gateway that specifically interfaces the SIP trunk(s). The voice traffic uses the usual network infrastucture that the data traffic uses to reach the internet.
Both systems are on seperate VLANs from the data side so have dedicated network switches to handle the network traffic as it comes...
MIMB... that seems like a lot of hoops to jump through considering 911 is only used for local emergency...we simply changed our outside dial number to 8. That took care of all the calls from the Emergency Operations Center asking if someone needed assistance because the user simply hung up when...
Mitelmatt, I did look into the quick conference and agree it is a sweet solution, but the powers that be are looking for a solution that doesn't require additional funding...at least at this point. However, I will be including the quick conference in next years capex requests. :)
MIMB, thank...
Thank you kwbMitel! Your instructions were VERY useful. Works like a charm! Now if I can figure out a way to beat that 8 call limitation without having to by an additional ASU or give up anymore of my analog trunks and still retain the automatic conferencing.
I know I can add more than 8...
