FTP backup works well, but only after a user changes a speed dial...

The guides big but the process is relatively simple. Setup an FTP server with anonymous access. I used our Windows 2003 server and then added the built in FTP server. As we only have one type of phone (5621/5620) I replaced our 46xxsettings file with the following: SET FTPUSERSTAT 1 SET FTPSRVR...

Surely a reboot wont delete Speed Dials? I thought only a <Hold>reset# or <Hold>clear# would do that?

FTP backup works well, but only after a user changes a speed dial...

Just to be clear as I can see the confusion over the term backup with tlpeter: When "Automatic Backup" is enabled on an IP phone - when does the phone actually backup to a data.txt file.

FTP backup works well, but only after a user changes a speed dial...

Yes the files are on the FTP server - in my case in the form 5347_4620data.txt - that is all fine. My problem is that I want the backup of the phone on the remote site to occur automatically without the users intervention. Is this possible or will a backup only occur when a user changes a...

FTP backup works well, but only after a user changes a speed dial...

I have setup FTP back/restore of 5620/5621 phones at a remote site in Germany. This works well for giving the phones initial values (after a system reboot) or manual backing up when a speed dial is changed. My issue is I'd like to backup the current Speed Dial settings for all phones - even if a...

Does anyone know where I can get a full list of the 46xxsettings.txt settings that effect the 56xx phones. For example I know the Baklight command doesn't work. I would like to be able set Phone Screen On Answer (and Calling) to Yes but cant find a way to set it without being at the phone...
