    Form Replacement Tags

Aah. Would that not require having the Extension Attributes module? I'm trying to avoid using it after the reaction I got after getting pricing for it.

    Form Replacement Tags

Thanks. I don't need it populated until after the iniation of the workflow so timing will be okay. I have used that tag in workflows but it doesn't seem to work with forms. I'll try the KB. Thanks.

    Form Replacement Tags

Does anyone know if there are replacement tags for fields in forms tables aside from those based on attributes? I'm particularly interested in the VolumeID field. I need to fill a form field with the workflow ID which equates to the VolumeID in the form table.

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

Thanks. I was missing the step "Submit Data." I'm not sure having the form initiate the workflow wll work for my submitting audience unless I could somehow automate the Submit Data step so when they click Apply, the workflow initiates.

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

I finally spent more time on this and re-reading your note, I realize I misunderstood. You're suggesting having the form initiate the workflow. When I try to do that I have a few issues: First, the workflow does not initiate so I don't know if there is some configuration needed to make this...

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the confusion. I was able to enforce the required fields using the views but it doesn't get triggered unless the user clicks Apply on the Form. What I ran into is outside that. The last step in my test workflow does not require any data to be entered but...

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

There is a check box when applying the form to the map that says "required form." If that is deselected there is nothing stopping the initiation of the workflow. The code for required fields only works if you click apply on the forms page.

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

I need to learn so I will keep plugging. I do have another question though. I created a few views and they're working okay. But I ran into something I think is unrelated to the view. The last step in my workflow does not have to enter anything on the form. At that point any form data needed...

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

Thank you both. I am new to HTML and JAVA and in the past have only the regular Livelink attributes. This is a whole new world!

Enforcing required fields on a webform HTML view

I found article 3499673 on the Knowledge Center that describes how to enforce required on a webform HTML view. The solution is to create a function (among other things) and reference each attribute to be required (see below). It seems to work but I'm not sure how to refer to a date field, eg...

    Livelink Forms and Views

Thanks for your help. Support helped me figure it out. The workflow map needs a default view in Status View under Forms in the map.

    Livelink Forms and Views

I created a Form to use in a workflow and it looks fine. When I export the HTML to create a view and use the view in the workflow, I see the following message on the bottom of the screen. Content-Type: text/html Expires: -1 Any ideas why I am seeing this. Thanks.
