I just had time to look at the equipment. You guys mentioned the DB25 to RJ45 adapter. Now the question is that on the NM-4A/S, it has DB60 serial ports, would the DB25 adapter be able to fit into those ports? If they fit all I have to do is to crimp my own rolled cable right?

Right, so I am going to try using the blue console cable with my NM-4A/S in my 3620. I will let you guys know how it go. Thanks.

Ahh I see, so if I use the NM-8A/S or even NM-4A/S, I can just use the regular console cable to do the job. I will have to play around with it. Thanks, stars for you guys! Kin

Hi all, Instead of the 2509 or the 2511, is the 3620 capable of being an Access Server with the right NM. I was reading something on the Cisco website saying that you can use the Octal cable kit with the NM-8A/S. But the rj-45 end is being plugged into the serial interfaces with an adapter...

Hi, dose anyone know where is a good place to buy cheap DRAM and FLASH for the 3600s and the 2600s, or in general. I've been told that I don't have to buy the ones made for Cisco, any old 72 pinn SIMM DRAM should work in the 3600s. I've checked Ebay and the prices for the 3600s is much more...

Why can't you use auto detect for the duplex?
