its a regular file share. i cant do \\domaincontroller i even tried net view \\computername and comes back with system 53 error. my domain controller is the master browser. from the workgroup machine i can ping all the machines but cant access anymachine outside its subnet. thanks for your...- geeklsu

Can ping but not show in network neighborhood
I have netbios over tcp/ip enabled. i can even add the computer (workgroup computer) to the domain but cant see the shares on the domain computer. I even installed WINS and even then it doesnt work. computers are not multihomed.- geeklsu

I am able to ping bothways from Machine A to Machine B But only MAchine B can see machine A in network neighborhood not the other way round. I have no firewalls of any kind.
