Unable to push client on SMS 2003 after upgrade.
I had to call MS Support to resolve my issues. #1 make sure the Schema was extended properly. You can check the ExtADSch.log on the System drive of the Domain controller where the Schema was extended. SMS 2.0- Do we need WINS anymore??
I installed SMS 2.0 just using DNS. It ran alright but we had problems and I was told by Microsoft the WINS was necessary. I have since upgraded to 2003 and am integrated with Active Directory and no longer require WINS.- FreakinBS
