Thanks Skip :-) The riskIndex is the name of an index field in the Access database. It's what the seek command requires (an index field). riskIndex contains the value for rtitle which I'm trying to compare to the cell in the excel worksheet that has the incoming value (cell B7). I have been working hard to clean up my code but I am still wondering why all incoming records go to the "AddNew" part of the IF statement and never to the Edit alternative. simple ping host is down question
Hello, Could someone please tell me if I receive the following response when I ping, ping: sendto: host id down ping: wrote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 64 chars, ret -1 Does this mean that something is using that IP address but incommunicado?
