Like ipolmans said, but if you just disable the tree like you would do to make changes it still plays Menu 0, I just want the greeting to play then a custom AA menu prompt.
I still need the voicemail to answer the lines but now instead of getting options from the tree the options are listed in the greetings. They list their agents but as you can only have 8 options from menu 0 some of them are now peeved that they are in the press 1 option listing other agents.
OK stupid question, how do you stop a CCR tree from playing? at the moment I use another tree that's not been set up and just record 1 sec of silence in home menu 0 this works but is there a correct way, thanks ray
I have a phone extn set up with an information mailbox, when that extn rings I would expect it to go to the information mailbox of course it doesn't it goes to the GD, any thoughts?? 8x24 MICS and flash VM.
And when the putton is pushed what do you want it to do? i'm guessing to page a pre recorded message that a machine needs service or UPS is at the pick up counter!!
Ok thanks guys, just to confirm as the customer wants to know the fix will be 100%, so if i renew the PCMCIA card it will fix the garbled messages on the mailboxes?
Yep Curly has it right on this, Algo very dependable and robust, you can also change the volume, sound and pitch with the handy screwdriver they give you.
Are the messages stored on the PCMCIA card or is it somewhere on the circuit board?
I,ve got to go in to the customes site and I'll ask if it's happening on just the service box or others as well.
Has anyone an idea why some messages on a Call Pilot 150 are not recording clearly, is the recording part of the voicemail renewable?? I don,t know if this happens to all voicemail boxes or just the off site service people who have off prem notification.
I know what you're saying about the names etc but it's easier to explain and for people to understand when you say an RJ45 plug, it's like calling something by it's trade name and not what it is i.e. Hoover for a vacuum, Kleenex for tissues etc.
The plug on my Tempo Lan Toner AT8L has a similar type plug, it an RJ45 8 conducter type but it will fit an RJ11/12. Now i had a look at the Sandman website and he does sell the same type which he calls a "Blue Universal Modular Plug" basically a "shaved" RJ45 which will do the job, and thanks Ray
This is a question about Registered Jacks. It looks the same as an RJ45 but it is only 6 pins ( and no it's not a telephone one ie RJ11 etc.), the one i saw was plugged into an RS232 converter, does anyone know the correct RJ?? number so i can order some, thanks Ray.
