Hi Don,, The "Hicom 150E office one" doesn't have such a switch. All people sofar tell me that it is impossible to reset the device if you do not know the password. Hoping someone does know a way... Thx, Chris

I have a spare hicom 150e office one laying which i want to use but the default name/password doesn't work anymore. Is there a way to reset / initialize it ? Cheers, Chris

I can't imagine that there isn't a way to reset the switch if you've forgotten your password.... Siemens can't be that ....

I've bought a Hipath 1220 to experiment (others say play) with, the first hurdle is to reset the system to it's default. I do not have the administrator password, and the default password (31994) has been changed. Is there a hardware reset button or another way to set the system to defaults?

Problem Solved. I had 2 Manager E's installed, one from Siemens and one from T-Mobile. The one from T-Mobile (a newer version) interfered with the one from Siemens: I always had to type in a username, which isn't necessary for the Hicom 150e release 1.0. As soon as I removed the Siemens folder...

Tried to read the configuration of a Hicom 150e officepoint release 1.0 using Hipath Manager E (latest version and an older one from a few years back). But it fails everytime saying the password is incorrect (in German). I use no username and password "1". (31994/31994 doesn't work either)...
