ms-dos v6.22
my wife installed ms-dos version 6.22 and now i can not get windows to boot ,it has a config.sys error and says it is missing files 1 through 17 {missing or corrupt} how do i uninstall this or format the hard drive to reinstall windows 98 without a restore disk .. all i have is a windows 98 disk- confusedredneck

error in config.sys
bad or missing c:\dos\himem.sys. this is all i get and it will not let me reinstall windows 98 because it has errors or is missing lines 1 through 17 in config.sys files. how do i clear the hard drive and reinstall windows 98 ?? is it even possible ?- confusedredneck
