pci parallel port card not recognized in 6.0.0 using sysv
Figured out the solution in case anyone else needs it. I deleted all printers, sysv and cups, and then rebooted. I added a sysv printer and selected /dev/lp0. Then rebooted again. (Nothing tells you to do that) Now applications can print to the printer.- bobkattkg

pci parallel port card not recognized in 6.0.0 using sysv
I've added a pci parallel port card to SCO6 MP2 and the only way it works is when I change the default print system to CUPS. (/etc/default/lpd). My apps don't print correctly using CUPS so I need to use my own drivers. I've run the DCU and it shows an entry as follows: Device Name IRQ...- bobkattkg

I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm adding to this thread. I tried what Stan suggested and then tested it. It didn't change when I set the date and time forward to Mar 11, 1:55am. Do you need to do anything else other than run the /etc/tz script? I tested it on a SCO 6 box with MP2. SLS...- bobkattkg
