    moving the patch cable is what we did, and you're right there should be no need to trace.....if the wall sockets actually had meaningful labels! In this case they don't and hence it was necessary to trace the cable from source.

    Hi, I'm trying to work out which physical connections on an Avaya system are module 1, BD1, BD2 etc. (see attachment) some extensions show as module BD1, some as BD2, BP3, some as just "1", "8http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=f986978a-d6dc-4714-81e1-3daacf4b8f37&file=avaya.JPG
