PS Downloading the firewall seemed to fix my TM/regedit problem until I messed with it. PSS Just FYI, prior to discovering this website and post, while trying to fix this weirdness I did try re-formatting my hard drive and installing fresh Win2000Pro OS SEVERAL TIMES, like maybe 5 times over...
