Assigning default value to new record id
Hi, I am using Microsoft Access as a fat client to my Oracle database. Oracle does not support AutoNumber so what I am trying in my Access forms is set the default value to an SQL query, i.e: SELECT MAX(id)+1 FROM table; I have tried everything but can't get it to work, all I get is #Name? -...- artfuljames
