In,DNS Management console, I right-clicked my DC server and then click Properties > Forwarders tab. Although I inputted the 4 DNS servers, I do not see anything that says "Enable Forwarders." Is there a way to check if Forwarders are active or if the DNS server is still using root hints?

Let me clarify my original question; Should I put 2 DNS servers from ISP #1 and 2 DNS servers from ISP #2 or use just one ISP's servers?

Hmm interesting tip. Just a quick question about this; The network runs through a dual-WAN router (two ISPs with static-IPs load-balancing). Should I put *both* ISP DNS servers or just take DNS servers from one?

This issue was resolved. Here is the recap and solution; Andy went down which left Brenda for domain name resolutions. Yet all the workstations were unable to browse the web most of the time, although, some times websites would load. Turns out, Brenda had the wrong forwarders set in DNS...

No longer relevant because the issue persists even when the logon server is Brenda. Granted,it probably would be a good test for another time, but right now, priority is to figure out whats causing intermittent connection issues.

OK. I have to wait on HP support. It's costing me an arm and a leg to get next-business support on site assistance + parts (Andy is an old server). It will probably be up by Wednesday at the latest. But I just wish I could figure out what the heck is going on?
