Step 1

Find and configure a FREE DNS manager! Check: http://www.myip.org/
OK, IÆm sure there are free ones out there, this made me pay $20 bucks for 1 years service. Well worth it in my opinion, IÆve got a WEB & FTP server running!

Step 2

Configure your Linksys

DHCP = Yes (Range: 192.168.1.0 û 192.168.1.50)

Port Forwarding as follows: (yeah, click the Advanced Tab)

Configure Static IP
(this is for W2k Proàbut the concepts are the same.)

TCP IP SETTINGS FOR YOUR NIC

Get it? Check out the 192.168.1.3 settings for the Server IP and LinkSys Port Forwarding. DNS and Gateway equal router IP, which is 192.168.1.1
