If and when you need to boot or reboot your Octel system (You should not have to reboot your system) you will go to menu 13 and sub menu 1.
Once you use this utility to shut the system down it will not boot on itÆs own you will need to enter a boot command. The system will shut down and finally get to a prompt that states enter boot command. At this point you can turn the power off to the unit. Or you can enter the letter A and the system will boot into a running state. If you power the unit off and then back on it will come up to the enter boot command prompt and you will enter A for auto boot. This means that id the power is lost and then restored it the system will boot on itÆs own to a running state.
Bottom line is if it is setting at an enter boot command just enter A and it will boot unless there is a hardware problem
