One of the most frequent problems that happens to Act is that the tool bar may disappear. Following the steps below will restore the tool bar for you.
1. Click "Start" then "Run".
2. Browse to c:\program files\Symantec\Act and run the program Actdiag.exe
3. Once the program starts click on "Reset" and then on "Options and Window Position".
4. Now select "Menu and Toolbars" and press reset.
Now you can close the program and open Act and the toolbars should now be visable.
