1. Create sip trunk
a. name the device
b. Destination IP address
c. Under Outbound calls party. calling party select first redirect number
2. Create route group
a. name the group
b. Choose the corresponding sip trunk
3. Route List
a. Create route list name
b. Choose the corresponding route group
4. Route Pattern
a. Create a route pattern to retrieve guest voicemail
from room phone. (ex. 8201)
b. Create a route pattern to retrieve guest voice mail
from outside the room. (ex. 8202)
c. Create a route pattern to forward all the devices
to freedom voice mail under busy and no answer
conditions. (ex. 8200)
d. Create a route pattern to leave a voice mail for
guest/staff without ringing the phone. (ex. 8210)
e. Create a route pattern for the front desk VM option.
(ex. 8211)
5. Configure phones
a. On all the guest/admin devices the calls should route
to the Freedom Voice mail under busy and no answer
conditions.
b. Under individual line configuration page the
coverage/destination should be "route pattern"
that forwards the calls to voice mail.
6. Create message waiting numbers
a. Create two new msg waiting numbers for the guest phones.
One to turn on, one to turn off.
(ex. 8830 on, 8831 off)
b. Create two new msg waiting numbers for staff phones.
One to turn on and other to turn off.
(ex. 8832 on, 8833 off)
7. Make sure the CCM service "Cisco IP voice media stream
APP" is activated.
8. Sip trunk security profile information
Create a sip trunk security profile as follows.
a. Incoming transport type. (TCP+UDP)
b. Outgoing transport type. (UDP)
