how to reteive passwords from mics or cics

to retrieve passwords from mics or cics, you'll need nru 11.0 installed on your pc.
connect your rad to the ksu. make sure it is on a working spare station port. you can test the port by connecting a set to it or going across the pins with a butt set to get data tone

you can access rad via 9** and assign a pswd or attach serial cable to rs232 port and pc then open browser tool/ enter rad pswd/ select com port/ connect type=direct/ baud rate 9600 or higher

if com port is not supported just change com port until connection to rad is successful. the browser window will open and then you can scroll down to passwords/ open sub menus and open programmer pswd and change

if you don't have an rs232 port on your pc you can use a serial to usb port adapter.
