16 Bit Applications run Super slow under Windows XP

by  dlogik247  Posted    (Edited  )
The problem here is conventional memory, 16bit apps require it, and by default XP doesn't allocate it to them.

Try creating a shortcut to the application on the desktop, then right-click the shortcut, select Properties, click the advanced button at the bottom (under the shortcut tab), and select "Run in seperate memory space". This allocates 1000k of conventional memory to the application, and hopefully now it should run SUPER STABLE.
