How do I connect to a remote PC on another Domain?

Easy through explorer map to the I.P. address of the remote PC.
(This can be achieved by giving them a batch file on their desktop that runs ipconfig)
Or
(If you use DHCP get the user to logoff and check the computer name from the DOMAIN drop down list then match it against an I.P. address by running DHCP admin adding the remote PDCs I.P. address then checking)

So it goes as follows through explorer map a network drive

i.e. [/b]\\nnn.nnn.nnn\admin$ (or C$, D$ etc)
and in the connect as line have

[/b]nnn.nnn.nnn\administrator

then the password of the remote PCs local administrator account.

This would allow you to check Lmhost files etc and you could always use the Shutdown.exe utility from the resource kit to remotley reboot the PC. The reason I have entered this is because I work within the Network section and 80% of our support people don't even know these basic NT4 skills....
If you use Netop then ignore all of above (apart from the batch file on the users desktop to get their I.P. address)......

Hope this helps someone....
