How do I copy and paste in a DOS command line?

by  carpeliam  Posted    (Edited  )
If you want to copy something from a DOS screen to the clipboard, click on the icon at the left side of the title bar (far top left hand corner of the screen), and go to "Edit>Mark". Now, you can highlight anything on the screen. As soon as you're finished highlighting, press the "Enter" key and the highlighted text will be copied to the clipboard. If you want to paste something into the DOS command line, click on the icon and press "Edit>Paste".
