While running setup of programs, which are packaged 'n deployed using the packaging wizard of Access10, from read only media like CDs one may come across such an error at the fag end of installation. The body of the error is like: Title of Msgbox-'VB6.0 Setup ToolKit'
Error-Runtime error '75', Path/File Access Error
The installation remains incomplete with "Retry/Abort" buttons coming in the way. The program fails to register but continues to run 'n you cannot uninstall the same at a later date.
The utter futility of resistance almost drove me nuts while trying to locate the remedy myself when I was..like..facing the music. But I thrived to tell the tale.
This is an issue with Microsoft and has been finally dealt with. This one's for Access10 though. Here's the link to the remedy. Let others who dare to venture the rough waters, not have the misfortune which had rocked my progress.
