Setup PRI incoming routing with digit manipulation

by  tipandring70  Posted    (Edited  )
Setting up PRI incoming DID routing for deleting and inserting digits.

There are 16 tables(0-15), one for each different setup.
Example 1:
You could be setting up DIDs with a range you canÆt use.
the provider is sending all 10 digits 617-432-7000 -7099
Your stations are 300 û 399. So you want to delete 8 digits and add a 3

Example 2:
The provider is sending denis digits, 617-654-3478, and they are sending all 10 digits. You want this number to go to station 345.
So you want to delte all 10 digits and add the digits 345.

In our examples we will use tables 1 and 2.

There are about 5 things you have to setup:

Service û this is where you pick the service that the provider is giving you. This usually works:
Lines and trunks > PRI > Incoming call routing > service > misc > any service

Expected digits û - this is where you would enter the number of digits they are sending, in both of the examples the number is 10.

Pattern - if you are just doing DID range you donÆt have to enter anything here, but in example 2 you would put in 6176543478.

Digits to Delete û this is where you would enter the 8 for example 1 And the 10 for example 2

Digits to add û this is where you enter the digits to add, example 1 you would enter 3, example 2 you would enter 345.
