This is just a short version of: faq689-3787
Please refer to that article for more detailed instructions.

Say that you want this configuration:

You want the phone to Ring to receptionist and after four (4) rings, go to Auto Attendant (AA)

Steps to follow under the Switch Console

- System Programming\Exit
- Extensions\More\Grp Calling\Line/Pool
- Use a calling group that has not used for anything else calling Group. For example 791
- Enter
- Enter each line number, or the pool number that the lines are in (the lines that you want to be setup as call handling)
- Hit enter after each entry
- Hit Back twice
- Grp Calling\Overflow\791\Enter\770 (or whatever the Voice Mail calling group)
- Enter
- Number Based Overflow
- Delete whatever is there and enter 99
- Enter
- Time Based Overflow
- Delete whatever is there and enter the number of seconds before the AA should answer (each ring is about 5 seconds)
- Enter

Steps to follow under the Voice Mail Administration

- Enter in Administration mode
- Select Extension and dial 791#
- If asked for class of service, selectr 15#, otherwise select Automated Attendant instead of assigning a mailbox and follow the steps to assign the proper selector codes (Menu options that you want some one to press after listening to the Automated Attendant and the message that you want users to hear.
