2) Click the Page Layout tab (was Page Setup in Excel 2000) on the menu
bar (Ribbon).
3) Click the Print Area button in the Ribbon under Page Layout.
4) Find the Quick Access Toolbar above (or below) the Ribbon and click on the
drop-down arrow for a pop-up window and click on Print Preview and Print.
5) At the lower right corner of the screen, there are two buttons. Hover the
cursor over them and you will see Margins at the left one and
Zoom to page at the right one. Click on right one toggles from show
all selected area û to - zoom / click again toggles back from zoom. Click
on Margins toggles to and from showing margins to not showing margins.
When margins are showing, you can click and hold at a margin and drag it
where you like. After you adjust the margins:
6) Look between the Preview and the left menu column (File) where it
says, ôPrintö at the top. Under Settings click on the down arrows
as needed to select options, e.g.,
ò Landscape vs Portrait
ò Letter 8.5 x 11 (Default?) This, in my mind is a mistake
by Microsoft. It should say, ôPaper Size.ö
ò Fit on Screen
ò Etc -- you MUST click on each of these down arrows to see
the options and familiarize yourself with what is
available otherwise you will be searching all the wrong places.
7) At the bottom right under all of the Settings options is Page Setup
where you will find more options, e.g., Header/Footer but it is a faint
(Page Setup) rather than bold lettering.
8) Choose number of copies under where it says Print near the top.
9) Where it says, ôPrintö click on the Print ôbuttonö to left of the bolded
word Print.
