If you ever need to deal with spreadsheet cells that are formatted as text and are full of long text values (exceeding 255 characters) you'll undoubtedly see those this hash marks or sometimes called number signs.
Excel uses these to tell you that it can not display a text cell larger then 255 characters.
If you try and export your spreadsheet to a comma or tab delimited format, the number signs (####) will be there too.
So what do you do? You convert the column to the General format. Yes it is that easy.
Excel will gladly show you all of the text and export it nicely.
