How can I access my Linux files while running Windows?

by  flugh  Posted    (Edited  )
I have often found myself needing a file stored on my /home partition, but running Windows on my dual-boot box. Rather than have to reboot, you can save yourself some time with the following 'gotta-have' utility.

explore2fs

Homepage (as of 8/5/2003):
http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm

Google for it:
http://www.google.com/search?q=explore2fs

Last ditch effort (subject to a 404 at any time):

Since this question gets asked often in Linux-related forums here, or this ability would assist help-seekers in getting their problems solved, I figured this FAQ would be of use from time to time.
