Outlook XP minimize to system tray, not task bar.

If you usually have a cluttered task bar, you can configure Microsoft
Outlook XP to minimize to the system tray, rather than to the task
bar. Outlook still places the envelope icon in the tray when you
receive new mail. To minimize Outlook to the system tray, perform the
following steps:

1. Launch regedit.
2. Open
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences.
3. Add a REG_DWORD data type named MinToTray.
4. Set the data value to 1.
