Asrhost.db - Maintains the client tracker information by recording all workstation, network and node addresses in the LAN environment.

Asobject.db - Maintains the String Object Database information by recording the names of all objects (i.e.:File Names, Directory Names, User Names, Server Names, etc.). This is the most important file and is dependant on many other database files.

Astpdrv.db - Maintains the Tape Drive Database by recording information on all devices that are connected to the controller card running the tape drive(s).

Asmedia.db - Maintains the Media Pool Database and contains information such as tape pool name, save set retention time, etc.

Astpsdat.db - Maintains the Arcserve Backup Detail (FTS) Database information by recording the addresses of all String Names. It contains information on each file and directory backed up. This database will also be updated if a Merge operation is performed.
