Defect # 1
After installing a server with the Novell NetWare 6 Support Pack 3 Overlay CD you do not have CDROM support by typing 'CDROM' on the server console.

The CDROM.NLM is on the Overlay CD but during the server installation the file is not being copied over to the SYS:SYSTEM directory on the server. The CDROM.MSG file however is present in the SYS:SYSTEM\NLS\<Language> directory.

Manually copy the CDROM.NLM file over from the SYS:SYSTEM directory on the SP3 Overlay CD to the SYS:SYSTEM directory on the server

Defect # 2
AUTOEXEC.NCF calls the UCS.NCF file but the file does not exist

NetWare 6 SP3 overlay image does not copy the UCS.NCF.

Create the UCS.NCF with the appropriate commands or copy a UCS.NCF from an existing server. UCS.NCF should contain the following lines:


[color blue]LOAD JAVA
ENVSET CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH;SYS:JAVA\LIB\UCS.JAR [/color]
