For those of you using PSP7, here is a nice text effect which I worked out:

1) Start with a heavy text (e.g. Arial Black) in a big size (e.g.: 36pt.) in Black on a white background.

2) Effects / Artistic / Coloured foil; apply the following settings:

Blur: 7
Detail: 16
Angle: 44
Colour: Black


If you've done it right you should get quite a nice thinish black outline, gently blurred; with the central part being white; works quite nicely if you do it right.
