Hide left frame (Index & Search tabs)
Upfront Customization
To do this follow these steps:
1. Open the file tree.utml from
<install drive>:\Program Files\Cognos\cer2\templates\upfront\en\standard70\common\tree.utml"
2. Make a backup of this file prior to making any changes.
3. Find and delete this section of code:

4. Save the file.
5) Launch Upfront.
The Search tab should now be removed.
