How do I open Word document using VBScript?

Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Set Word = CreateObject("Word.Application")
Word.Visible = TRUE
Word.Documents.Open("C:\My Documents\myfile.doc")
End Sub

If anyone knows how to open other MS Office files using a similar VB code, I would appreciate hearing from you!
