If novell based multiuser application is used as it is on Windows 2000 or NT, record lock fails and nodes receive old information from the record, while it is under lock for updation from one user. Statement "Commit" should be inserted immediately after any updation or deletion before unlocking the record, to resolve this failure. Also suggestions made on the weblink www.jsiinc.com/subc/tip1400/rh1447.htm should be implemented on windows 2000/NT server to avoid such failures.
