How2 set up form properties for email and optional text file

Beginner FAQ

Right click inside the form surround (the dashed or dotted line)

Select "Form Properties"

At the top, tic|check Send to:

Type the email and or file (with file, make sure it is in your _private folder e.g. _private/form_results.txt) in to the respective boxes.

To set the file method, click Options, select File results tab and set to Formatted text ( of course you can change this later, but this is my preference.

Click Ok

Now you may see the infamous "Disk based web" message asking if you wish to remove the email recipient. The answer is NO. This message is just a reminder that your form must be published to a server with the FPSE installed.

Publish and test.
