Resizing everything in your movie.

Sometimes you want to resize your movie for whatever reason and it is not practical to resize each element in the movie, specially with a lot of animations and layers. Here is the solution for this problem:

Grab all the frames in the timeline. They should all be black, now right click and select Copy Frames. (or Edit-Copy Frames)

Create a new symbol (movie clip), place your mouse in the only frame available in the new timeline and right click. Select Paste frames. (Edit-Paste Frames)

Now you will have everything that you had in the main timeline copied in the new movie clip.

Go back to your scene and delete all the layers and all the frames. You shouldn't see anything in the timeline. Now insert a keyframe in the only layer you have. Open your library. (Window-Library)

Find and drag the movie clip that you just created into the stage and now you will be able to resize everything and it will work the same way it used to.
