Counting the Number of Selected Items in List

by  NiteLink  Posted    (Edited  )
Below is the code to be placed in the onChange of the Select field:

var f = document.forms[0];
var fldVal;
num = 0;

fldVal = f.PersonName.length;
for ( i = 0; i < fldVal; i++ )
{
if ( f.PersonName.selected)
{
num = num + 1;
}
}

f.NoOfRep.value = num;

NoOfRep will display the number of selected items in the select list.
