versions:
Sniffer Pro 4.0, 4.5 and basic 4.0 or 4.5
Cause: Incorrect or partial filled in Sniffer serialnumber.
The Sniffer serialnumber needs to be filled in correctly when installing the product.
The Sniffer serialnumber is NOT the grantnumber, but a serialnumber that looks similar to a windows serialnumber.
Either you get the serialnumber in the box on a piece of yellow paper when you buy Sniffer.
Or when you download Sniffer from the NAI website you will have to request a Sniffer Serial License. Please send an e-mail with your company information and contact details, Grant Number, and the Product Name (Sniffer Pro) to sniffer_updates@nai.com.
Once you have the serial license number make sure you fill it in correctly while installing the product.
All in capitals, with the - in between.
If you don't do that you will get the errormessage.
Fix:
Make sure you fill in the serialnumber correctly in capitals and with - in between.
Also make sure you have the right serialnumber for your license (LAN, WAN)
