This is a very important parameter. One tends to set this to like 5 for testing.

Then when implementing do not forget to set this to a higher number.

Many systems should return an error indicating that you have execeeded the limit.

But due to not being up to date on releases and Service Packs, you may not get any messages indicating what the problem is.

My service on win2k3 threads (fork) continued to run properly on connected sockets, but was rejecting all new sockets. When the connected sockets terminated, the service aborted.
