How to make XP / W2K Print Out Earlier.

Do you find the W2K computer or XP unit sending the printer output after delay or eat the reports without completing the output ?

Use registry editor and change the value for following...
(Start -> Run and type REGEDT32)

Follow the tree given below and reach the LPT_TimeOut value...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\WOW\LPT_Timeout

Double click this key LPT_TimeOut key

A prompt for a string with a default of "15" (seconds) will appear. Change this to 1 or 2 and click OK.
Close RegEDT32

Repeat these steps for every computer running any version of Windows 2000 or Windows XP, including the data server, Citrix/Terminal Server, and all remote workstations.
